Would be really good for mixing, though, i've often thought about this.

clever. I doubt it will be popular though. Firstly, it allows listeners to steal invidual parts very easily, and secondly, most artists will want the listener to hear the music as they intended, not some edited version.

i could imagine it being used more for things like videogames or mobile fone apps...you know like "remixeable ringtones"
