MP3 Issues.

A few of my albums have started skipping recently. They didn't before and now they do!

Is there any likely cause for this?

I'd say they are more like glitches. They don't fit rhythmically with the music either.

What are you playing them back with, your PC? Installed any new software on it recently?

Yeah.

Either the software or the files are most likely corrupt. Report them to the police!

.. err, I mean re-install the software. If that doesn't work then crying is recommended in the circumstances.

BTW, has the power been cut to your PC when not properly shut down? Or do you ever have to force shutdown with the power switch because it's frozen? (usual causes of corrupt files)
