been playing with logic express for a while now, looking into getting logic8 soon...anyone have any experience with it thus far? I'm dying for some instruments!!

i think it said 45gb when i was going to install it!!!

not sure if thats with all the extra content dvds or not? either way that's huge. need to get my old comp back up and running so i can take some shit off this mac. and i've only had it a month.

it is 45gb for the full install, containing all the sample packs etc.

the install of the program + instruments is about 12gb. i've just put that on at the moment to test out the interface etc. looks pretty nice though from the 10 mins i spent with it last night.

Get an external portable (no power leads) HD unit. Dump ya music onto that. If you use itunes make sure you haven't got a duplicate of your tunes which itunes does by default.

it's all my serato stuff. i needed to sort through it anyway at some stage. there's about 40gb of stuff, i reckon only half of that i'll play, ever. the rest is just old shit.
