if so use them. You may need to change your bios to boot from cd first.

I didn't get full XP discs, just recovery ones... Should I just give ebuyer a call and tell them I don't want Vista then? Is that my only option likes?

As Mong said you could try booting the cdrom....with the restore disc in and do a bit of the old

You can still do clean installs with them you just need to download something to get the license key off your old machine (as long as it works) and bob is your aunty. Of ocurse you may not need it at all. Either way, you will have recovery disks with ya new one so ya can afford to experiment.
