Cool Oh yes!! Much better music PC up and running.

2.8GHz processor, 1G RAM, 2 x Audiophile 2496 souncards.

Got most of the software installed; Deejaysystem, Reason, Fruity, Ableton, CoolEditpro.

Cheers guys.

Haven't really tested the new PC yet, to see how much it will handle with Reason or Ableton, but it runs productions which were starting to break-up on the old PC without a single glitch.

And, this mother boots up and is completely ready to go in an impressive 24 seconds!

Aaaannd! I finally get to use the nice new Philips mp3 player that I bought ages ago. (Flash players don't work on 98 if you plug one in b4 you install the software).. I've been waiting for a fresh install b4 I could quit using my decrepid old, unreliable disk mp3 player. All because a m8 suggested I try his Flash mp3 player, to see if it worked, ages ago.

98SE. I'll upgrade to XP eventually, but I'm not in any hurry. TBH the main reasons I want to get XP would be for the internet PC, not the music one.

The internet PC is the next one to upgrade. The PC I was using for music b4 this new one will be set up for the net. That will be a very significant upgrade. I'll see how I get on with that b4 rushing out to invest in XP.
