| Where's the rave to? | I always wondered about this.. not totally on topic though. Say if you bought a 160GB ipod and stored the amount of songs on it Apple say you can store..40,000. Say if you actually purchased all of those through itunes...it would cost you far more than your ipod, at 79p per tune...something like £31000. Something there is not right, especially with all the anti piracy shit built into itunes. Why build an ipod that can hold £31000 worth of tunes if you are serious about stopping piracy?

its just ridiculous... apple doesnt want to stop piracy it wants to1. sell more ipods 2. sell more itunes tracks how can it do both? sell larger ipod? sure they may not expect people to fill up 160GB with purchased tracks... but someone who buys atleast some of their tracks is probably likely to buy more if they have a 160GB ipod than if they have a 16GB ipod... thats not to say they will download illegal music, just that they will buy more legally. | |
