I've never warped anything in traktor
I only use ableton for warping live musicians to get the beats in time.

That's exactly what you need it for.

If you can get that licked you have overcome the biggest hurdle imo.
Can i assume u are doing this in session view and you do you warping on the clip you dragged into the channel?

well the time has come, my 1st ableton bootleg (well 1st released one anyway, got loads sat here that are shit)

Taken from something I was doing on my shows, sonz of da loop da loop era - far out vs Public enemy - bring the noise.
Badly made boots: Bring the far out noise

I even went back to acid to try and see if I could do this in acid and I seem to have forgotten how to use it Some things still wind me up with ableton but on the whole I'm taming it.

Tight

Keys/mids are a little high in the mix mind but that could be my tired ears.
Mix gets a little muddled around the 3:40 odd mark - maybe eqing each section will sort it.

Good job

at 3:40 I made it muddled on purpose, wanted to make that "bass how low can you go" dissolve down. I guess the mids are high from the compressor, nightmare to do anything at home now, my headphones might as well be yoghurt pots on string. I can see a shit load of things to upgrade around here

actually you're now not the only person to say the pella is a bit muddled, just tweaked the EQ on the PE pella and reuploaded it.

They all are, play once, delete. Some occasionally make it to play once, jump around like a goon, delete.

Just FYI, the tweaked EQ version has a filename Stab_bring the far out noise, the old version is Stab - bring the far out noise

I beg to differ m8. This one, the two I played on Thursday, and some others, are definitely - play many times, don't delete tracks.

cheers, nice to know.
Sadly my winter is coming up soon and I didnt make half as much as I'd have liked to this year. Wish I could say it was quality over quantity but I'd be lying.
Still, I have a good few things taking shape that I hopefully can finish before november.
