Recording your mixes

What is the best program to use?

Preferences lean towards it being Free and ease of usability.

I've only ever used Goldwave in the past, just seeing what was availible to me.

Thanks for all suggestions in advance.

I use soundforge 8.... Can be free depending on your outlook???

I use it simply for recording but I know it does loads of clever stuff!!!

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

Yeah I'd recommend Audacity as well, it's completely free, and does exactly what it should do with no messing.

Soundforge is the dangles but audacity is a great free bit of kit.
