Went to the custard factory on Saturday night, out of the five rooms Paul Woolford was my favourite. Bashed it out proper. Playing Dave Clarke - Red 2 and Voodoo ray during his set, followed by Rebekah surprising me by playing Nathan Fake - The Sky Was Pink (Holden Remix) I nearly cried but held it back as the missus would have thought I was gay.

The rest of the festival was ten a penny "electro" and "Nu Rave" style DnB, Pendulum were headlinging so naturally the place was full of fuck ups.

Have heard a couple of Woolfords mixes and he is definately quality. Thanx for the review.

Woolford's awesome. After hearing him as a back to basics ressie about a million times over the last 8 years he's progressed amazingly. Unfortunatley he's just (last week) quit the residency due to too many other gigs and not being able to commit to play basics enough

... bad news for us basics regulars.

Although.... Burnski, the new ressie is also awesome. The guy's only 20/21, amazing productions, wicked dj skills and a top bloke to boot. He's played a couple of my things a few times

. you should really check him out if you're into house/techno/etc.

Seen him a few times in Leeds way back, maybe 2001.

Wasnt really my cup of tea then (more glowsticks and gurning

) but will have to check him out.
