Numark TT-200s?

Got a gig this weekend that I have been looking forward to for some time however found out yesterday that the pub I'm playing in has Numark TT200 decks.

Have had a look at some reviews on line and am a bit concerned - has anyone used said decks..how do they compare to techs? Should I abandon all hope of beatmatching now?

I wouldn't worry mate. As far as budget TT's go they are not bad... I had these for a year or so and I found them to be pretty good! as long as you are not scratching you should be fine!

If you're a Technics boy, then you'll be in for some fun

Be gentle with them or the pitch fader will break off in your hand!

Overheating through medium platter usage is rife too

I'm used to Vestax PDX2000s so it looks like I should be in for a treat.

Fortunately I should be able to get there a bit early and have a bash on them to see how they go.

You should be better off bein used to the Vestax, rather than Technics.

Yeah I did learn on some shitty decks but that was a long time ago!

Robberto, funny you should should say that, the mixer is a Numark DM1050,
retailing at around £50.

Come along to the Camden Tup in London on Saturday night if you fancy a laugh anyone
