One of London's best club closes

Goodbye Baby | The End

This is such a major loss for london , especially as Turnmills , The Cross , The Key and Canvas all closed this year. The End was / is London's longest running "propper" club to my knowledge , I myself have had many amazing nights there and still cant quite believe its going. Looks like Fabric will get even more packed and places like Scala and Pacha will start hosting more of the parties.

May well try n get to one of the many closing parties but doubt I'll make the last one , I dread to think how busy it will be tho will be abit of clubbing history

I always wanted to go there. That place had such a reputation. That and I wanted to see how the money I spent on The Shamen singles and albums had been spent.

gutting news. its just one club after another at the moment. london is going to turn into a city full of wetherspoons and other shit bars with no decent clubs.

i'm chuffed that i'm getting a chance to play there, well, AKA, at the end of the month. will be all the more special

Its funny tho its not like the government is putting pressure on them to close , in fact the newish laws have been beneficial for club culture. Seems its pure finances and the stupid money property developers are prepared to offer on centrally located buildings . Fabric is gona be soooo rammed after The End closes!

is it that, or are people going to the late closing pubs instead of having to go to the clubs?
