hola!

been workin on a tune the last few days on reason. now, its been a few years since i last really dabbled in production and so far iv created this

just wonder what people genral thoughts are really, not sure if its a lil clashy myself, by which i mean maybe im putting two seperate ideas together when they would work better in seperate tracks?

any opinions are welcome, and please bear in mind this is just a dabble so far!

I like it. The sounds are nice too though they need some polish. Good bit of automation on the lead too

BTW on the drum build I wasn't expecting it to breakdown. Maybe a couple of kicks after then bingo straight into the full on drums.

I liked it too. Some good variation on the percussion. (Something I have trouble with).

I had no trouble with the build into the breakdown. (Edit: although some kind of sound that builds with the percussion and then fades afterwards might be cool).

And I was really liking the bassy bit, and then it cut off (at 2:49). Is it meant to do that, or did my browser fuck the download up?

The distortion on the lead is a wee bit OTT.

Hats could do with some (more?) reverb.

Needs a random squeaky building noise between the buildup drums going quiet and the main shit kicking in.

Kick is a bit muffled.


Nice start. I'm into that lil percussion thingy you got on the go. Bass thing is good too.

The drums and percussion are a bit basic and That snare roll sounds a bit out of place.

But as this is a work in progress then I'm sure you intended on changing it anyway!

kick need a lil more clarity, which as soon as i work out how to do it ill sort

the snare was added last min so will be altered

working on a layer to help the build up

I found the structure of that breakdown a bit odd too, sounds like you've made the breakdown 10 bars long at first.

I like that dischordant synth sound, really cool.

Nice start to a track Danny, sounds like it could develop into something very cool.

well, iv beefed up the kick and added a really nice synthy bleepy thing.

currently iv got 2 versions, one with that dischordant synth sound,one without

ill post em up as soon as im home

as for the genral structure of the tune, its still WIP so once iv got the right sounds and stuff sorted, ill arrange them as best i can!
