That was really nice, man.

I gotta get some more work done on my own shizzle during the Xmas hols.

My trouble is I can only keep going for a couple of hours at a time before I start getting sick of it. Is that normal, or does it mean my production skills are crap?

Its normal, but it could mean that what you have come up with doesnt quite cut it. I never get bored of listening to my own productions, well the better ones anyway.
As your production skills improve you will find yourself spending less time in these ruts though, ie you will progress tunes much quicker thus meaning you are more likely to get much further before boredom sets in.

In my experience its just good to take a break from writing or even start on a new idea. It's not a race afterall. Alternatively, you could just try using a different instrument. I have started picking up the guitar now too.

Tried to learn Space Oddity at the weekend. Should be doable, but those F chords are pigs. I spent far too long on it.

Various tab versions here, and I'm using simplified versions of some of the chords. And no, I can't play it through, yet. Practice, practice, practice...

Nice tune, will it be longer as a final cut? I like flloaty tunes like that , will take a copy when it's ready

I assume the F is a bar chord? if so they can be a pig. It might be an issue with where you put your thumb though at the back of the neck. I will open a new thread for guitarists for further discussions

Cheers mang. I plan to add an intro/ outro and tidy it up a bit so it should be 1 -2 mins longer depending with how far i take it.
