Got to give credit to football fans in Liverpool.

Passionate derby game without the need to segregate the fans.

Good to see families in the crowd, one boy in blue, the other in red.

So we can conclude that Clattenburg is a closet Liverpool fan?

Quick to give Gerrard a pen when the foul occurred outside the box but blind to Everton's two clear cut penalties. Changed his mind about yellow card after Gerrard had shouted at him. Very very poor.

Neville's sending off though

Just watching the replays, Clattenburg man of the match for Liverpool IMO. They'll win the league with him every week.

Kuyt should have walked for the two foot challenge also.

Rafa will be hailed as a tactical genius now, when he's clearly never going to win the title (1 unchanged team in 160 matches)

Edit: Not a dig at Liverpool but I hate games ruined by referees. If people performed with such incompetence in other jobs, they would be fired.

Really gets my goat when refs directly influence a resullt, but on reflection its all swings and roundabouts.

Probably evens up the penalty Chelsea got at Anfield

Think that's how you have to look at it....

There does seem to be more high profile mistakes this season though.....
